The driving culture trio of RETRO trade fairs - the RETRO CLASSICS® trade fairs in Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Essen

One family, three locations, one goal
With the new location in Essen, the Fahrkultur family is growing. From 2026, the previous duo of Stuttgart and Nuremberg will become a trio that sets the tone for driving culture in three metropolitan regions and is unique in this form in Europe. Launched at the beginning of the 2000s, RETRO CLASSICS® Stuttgart has become an integral part of the international classic and modern classic car scene and stands for living driving culture - mobility from the past to the present, from the “brass era” to super sports cars. It makes the hearts of enthusiasts beat faster, brings technology to life and brings the international scene together.

In 2016, RETRO CLASSICS BAVARIA® in Nuremberg was the first driving culture trade fair to be held in south-east Germany, and a large fan community quickly formed here too, reaching far beyond the borders of Franconia and celebrating the crowning finale of the driving culture season in the Noris with the eighth edition in December 2024.

Coal, steel, economic activity and mobility - the Ruhr region is not only one of the largest conurbations in Europe, it also has a lot to tell: From Germany's economic engine to challenges and innovations to future technologies. Then as now, this region would be unthinkable without individual mobility, which is why driving culture finds an immense breeding ground here and will be warmly welcoming dealers, connoisseurs, enthusiasts, collectors, clubs and media representatives to the Ruhr metropolis of Essen from spring 2026 in the form of RETRO CLASSICS ESSEN®. Friends of all vehicle categories will get their money's worth at RETRO CLASSICS ESSEN® and experience a wonderful journey back in time through the mobility of the “Potts”.

Aim of the RETRO CLASSICS® trade fairs in Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Essen
Even if you can't please everyone and tastes differ, the RETRO CLASSICS® trade fairs for driving culture aim to offer all participants an unforgettable experience in the classic car hobby. Whether it is to awaken fond memories and feelings of happiness (the first moped or car, a long sought-after brochure, etc.), to find important information and parts, or simply to have a good time with like-minded people. To achieve this, the creators focus on the following aspects:

Active promotion of young talent
A vibrant driving culture scene with a future is only alive if the next generation is secured. This is certainly no easy task in times when the analog often seems to fade into the background, and yet the RETRO CLASSICS® trade fairs also succeed in inspiring the next generation for driving culture, for example by presenting corresponding special show themes (e.g. also for participation) and increasingly focusing on youngtimers. After all, it is clearly the youngtimers that create the link between old and young in the scene.

Service & communication as a calling card
“Quality means that the customer, not the goods, comes back “* - the RETRO CLASSICS® Trade Fairs for Driving Culture team has been acting according to this maxim for almost 25 years and always tries to offer its exhibitors and media representatives a comprehensive, open and personal service and to have an open ear for every concern.

With this in mind, we look forward to welcoming exhibitors, media representatives and visitors to our three locations in Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Essen!
