Welcome to the very first edition of RETRO CLASSICS ESSEN – the new gathering place for enthusiasts of historic vehicles and driving culture in the heart of the Ruhr region. Starting in 2026, Messe Essen will open its doors to a unique event dedicated to classic cars, youngtimers, vintage motorcycles, and historic commercial vehicles.
Discover gleaming chrome, remarkable engineering, and captivating stories from decades past – all presented in a show full of style, character, and automotive passion. The exhibition is rounded off by a premium selection of spare parts, accessories, specialist literature, and lifestyle products.
Are dogs permitted at RETRO CLASSICS ESSEN®?
- Dog owners can bring their four-legged friends to the fair—the only conditions are that dogs must be kept on a leash and have valid vaccinations!
- Please bear in mind that the aisles can get crowded, your dog may not like being in a crowd, and small children may be afraid of your dog!
